Frank Lacourt, Esq. is a healthcare and civil trial lawyer at Moore Rabinowitz Law. His practice is centered in medical malpractice, nursing home and ALF liability defense, as well as healthcare compliance and regulatory affairs. Frank has experience with complete civil litigation, Antitrust litigation, healthcare-managed care, and healthcare fraud and abuse defense.
Prior to joining Moore Rabinowitz Law, Frank served as a Risk Manager, Regulatory Compliance Officer and Healthcare Privacy Officer in several healthcare institutions and Hospitals in South Florida. Frank’s experience includes dealing with both state and federal regulatory agencies, including AHCA, DCF, DOH, and DEA. Furthermore, Frank’s compliance experience includes successfully organizing and representing several Behavioral Health institutions with issues related to the Joint Commission (JCAHO) certifications in several States. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Frank spent time teaching as a professor at the Eastern University of Puerto Rico in the Human and Social Sciences department.
Frank is fluent in both Spanish and English.
