Ms. Jacqueline Vera was born in Ecuador and she grew up in Queens, New York. Ms. Vera attended St. John’s University where she graduated with a major in accounting and a minor in international marketing. She moved to South Florida in 1996.
Ms. Vera is fluent in Spanish and she speaks some Italian. Jacqueline has countless years of experience in the administrative field, specifically managing accounts receivable and payable departments. She worked for more than 20 years in the stone and tile industry with suppliers from Italy, Portugal, Brazil, Peru, Israel, Argentina, India, Morocco, and Spain. Her travel to many of these countries has helped her understand many different cultures, which is a great asset for Florida’s diverse population.
As a devoted catholic she is very active at the parish she attends where she is a member of the finance council and where she participates in activities geared to assist the less fortunate. She considers herself a woman of prayer, which has not only helped her balance career and family but has also helped her maintain a very positive outlook in life, even in adverse situations. She is a hard-working, trustworthy, responsible, loyal and compassionate human being. She enjoys visiting her family, reading, walking on the beach, meeting friends for coffee, dining out, and dancing salsa.
